I love how so many bloggers are getting caught up in the method – sure, the protesters themselves may have done this for the wrong reasons, or using the wrong resources or method, but I think that’s beside the point. What’s important is that they’ve exposed this hypocrisy to the world. What’s important is that someone is brave enough to stand up.
Indeed, we may argue about the approach of MALI protesters, but, as you say, it is a matter of social hypocrisy. There is no other word for that. To be honest, I’m not sure the state could afford to appear to be soft on them, but now that the “leaders” have been imprisoned (and who knows, maybe Zineb El Rhazoui even disappeared) it has become a basic question of freedom of thought.

oui ,j’ai lu pas mal d’article concernant le sujet et c’est le tien que j’ai plus apprécié.
je rajoute que c’est malheureux de vivre au Maroc dans une schizophrénie religieuse. Et dans quel versé du coran est t’il indiqué qu’il faut attaquer ou punir celui qui rompte le jeun en public.
Allah tout puissant n’a pas interdit ou imposé une seule chose. Pourquoi punisserons nous celui qui a rompu le jeun publiquement et pas punir celle qui sort presque nue dans la rue ? pourquoi ne pas punir celui qui se drogue ou fume dans la rue ,pourquoi ne pas punir celui qui sort bras dessous ,bras dessus avec une nana? …(etc)ne sont t’ils pas interdit se genre d’act ?
bref ,nous sommes libre,ces gens sont librede jeuner ou pas jeuner ,c’est à Dieu de les punir ou de les excuser et l’etre humain y est incapble.
qui nous garantie que le juge poursuivant l’affaire jeune ou pas en ramadan .
